The passengers in the cabs can communicate with the center by means of the Emergency Support Line on number 444 6 345. Moreover, studies are underway to set up a “cab internal voiced and video communication” system which is not present in any other lift in the world.
DIESEL MOTOR STARTS DURING A CRISIS!
Each phase of the lift line is monitored by an automatic control system and there are 2 technical personnel at all critical locations. A parallel “evacuation procedure” is applied to the signals of the Emergency Warning System in case of a technical problem. The electric motors situated on the line transfer their duty to diesel motors within 3 minutes and ensure the speedy progress of the line and passenger evacuation immediately.

The Lift Emergency Support Squad can step in problems immediately owing to the trainings received from many organizations and when needed, the groups including Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (GSR), AFAD and AKUT are included within the solution immediately.
